Using a Bead Loom

Using a Bead Loom

The challenging part with a bead loom for me it trying to keep the edges straight! Although perhaps a wobbly one does give the finished piece a certain homemade charm. I have found that ensuring the beads are fairly uniform in shape and size helps.
And then there is the finishing off with all those ends to sew in. There are many different ideas if you search around on the web and although I try to keep to just needle and thread with my work - I have discovered the ease of jewellery glue. I think this works much better for me. I just use a slightly thicker thread to create selvage and then glue.
