I cant believe another week has gone by already. Im still working on new designs but have also expanded the rosebud design to include another red piece, this time in a lovely bright red, a white piece which will be added to the shop front soon and would look fantastic as part of a wedding set and a green piece to signify spring growth.
Im also working on Tree of Life bookmarks in different colours and despite it still being January, I have to give some thought to Mothers Day, Easter and even next Christmas.
I am learning that I simply dont plan far enough ahead which is why I have only just finished pieces for Valentines Day. I definitely need to plan better.
I have joined the Professional Crafters Guild and am excited to be part of this, which means I can now display the certificate on my stall at craft fairs and if I ever get a website set up I can add a badge to show I am a member.
I am networking regularly but only in a couple of groups when I have new pieces and Im posting to Facebook and twitter every Sunday so at least I have some schedule set up.
