Just to say hello

Hi,
Im new to this site and relatively new to selling at craft fairs. To give you a bit of background until about 2 years ago I was a keen patchworker and quilter but unfortunately had to give this up due to health problems. I missed being creative and tried out several things until I remembered how much I had enjoyed origami as a child. I now have a paper stash as well as other resources which I use to make a range of origami themed items, and have made a start on selling at craft fairs and markets. Currently my main outlet is in Walthamstow and I have a couple of Christmas markets booked.

Im currently working on origami decorated wreaths and Christmas cards as well as other decorations.

I drive so able to travel to attend fairs.

I am disabled and so do need to be able to park close to venues, and also need assistance unloading and loading my car as I use crutches.

I work part-time as an Assistant headteacher with a specialism in reading difficulties and dyslexia. I am also a proud mother and grandmother.

Really pleased to have found and joined this site as I start to develop my crafting.
