Well what can I say, Quintessentially British Events and its teams feet are itching and we are literally raring to go and start the 2015 season. Our small team which we call our show family cant wait to start the season while I am sure all of you are enjoying a well earned rest after the manic Christmas trading period. We as the name suggests are passionate about supporting British and handmade. As an events company we do realise the mass produced products have a place in our day to day living but as a company we also realise the time, care and love that goes into something which is handmade. That aside, no Airmiles as well with British Handmade so helping to keep the environment clean. Our start to the year is our Framlingham Country and Craft Show held at Framlingham College in Suffolk, We love this show and the feel of it with the Castle as the background and it being held in front of the Beautiful College and are extremely proud to be able to have a show at the College. We have so many interesting attractions this year and again have our handmade avenue which the public just love. A snake like avenue of beautifully made products. We are hoping with the upcoming election the economy will be buoyant and the weather will once again shine on us. We were so pleased when the show was absolutely buzzing last year with a visitor attendance of over 12,000 and people having a good time. A lot of hard work and nervous breakdowns go into organising a show so it is always nice when everybody enjoys it. It funny trying to make a show big enough but not too big to loose the atmosphere. Our shows atmosphere is so important to us because visitors make a show but so does the atmosphere. Having said that the English weather is the bug bear of our lives. You live on a knife edge whether you are an organiser or trader but I am sitting here writing this today with beautiful sunshine outside so I am sure we are going to be weather lucky this year. We will then go on the Weald Park Country Show in Brentwood, Essex. We love this venue as well. It is truly beautiful with the deer which you are able to feed and feel of the Park. The lovely people of East Anglia came out in force to our show last year and we got over 10,000 visitors to this show as well. Slightly nervous times trying to get the cars in as fast as possible. My general chit chat with cars as they were coming in had to be cut short so we could free up the roads. The Zulus last year were hugely popular and everybody loved dancing with them, slightly different to the normal Countryside Show ring. We have so many fun attractions in our rings this year, in fact our rings remind me of being a child again and wanting to share everything exciting with everybody. We will have our wonderful handmade avenue again and we love to have as many people on this avenue as it makes you proud to be British. Well off to carry on building websites and facebook pages to start advertising all the fun and exciting things happening in the upcoming year. Please come back tomorrow as I will sharing more information about our other ten shows we organise as well. Happy Monday everybody.
