The interconnectedness of all things

The interconnectedness of all things

A small doodle that became my largest art to date, with a nod to Douglas Adams!

This acrylic shows four quadrants representing the four seasons of the year, the trellis representing mans impact on the natural world, with the wavy lines showing natures attempts to work around our intrusion, the central bees, representing all insects, without which life ceases as we know it, the small square they are surrounded by showing how nature is being squeezed into smaller and smaller areas whilst mankind expands unchecked.
As my English teacher used to complain of me all the time, thats a bit of a sweeping statement, wheres your supporting evidence!
