Foreword

Foreword

Periodically I will be adding my travel blog I made over the years. Detailing my adventures in India and my love of the country. India is a piece of my heart and is where I found a deep connection and love for fabrics and textiles

What follows in this book are really just the thoughts and feelings of myself and how I interpreted my time in India. Please do not base your decisions solely on what you read here, rather I would encourage everyone to make up their own minds by experiencing all the wonders out there and learn from them. I had an amazing yet daunting time in India and I feel my blog describes as much, others will have a very different time from me and rightly so.
I also had a seasoned India traveller with me taking me around and showing me what sights we could manage to fit in to what was a very short visit, there is lots more to see and do than I managed to get done and a whole wealth more culture to experience. This blog barely scratches the surface of what is an extremely diverse and incredible nation. Please also be aware that, for me, this was a work trip. Everything written in what follows was taken from a working point of view.
All that being said, I hope you enjoy this small travel log.
Thank You
Mark Pickering
