Finding Inspiration in Nature

Normally, I enjoy visiting such a bustling metropolitan place as my brother called NYC his home for nearly twenty years and through his love of the city, I found it like home too. But in November 2021, my brother died in his sleep at the age of 42 after running in the Philadelphia marathon in support of cancer research. So spending most of last December in NYC turned into a never ending nightmare where I loved nothing and felt like I was

But what really helped me more than I can even describe, was returning to Hertfordshire and the green old trees and gentle sloping hills and farmland cresting my kitchen view horizon - a salve to my soul.
