Printmaking After Cancer

Printmaking After Cancer

Last year while I spent half the year sitting in the chemo ward with my infusion going into my veins, I remember keeping my motivation going by writing in my notebook and planning out how I wanted to live a new life once I had beaten cancer.

"I take delight in being able to enjoy breakfast"Last year while I spent half the year sitting in the chemo ward with my infusion going into my veins, I remember keeping my motivation going by writing in my notebook and planning out how I wanted to live a new life once I had beaten cancer. I knew I was going to beat cancer and behaved each day as if I was winning even if I felt awful. I just kept focusing on all the wonderful things I would be doing when I was finally pain free and living a life without cancer. Life on the other side

I feel like cancer taught me to see life from a different perspective and to appreciate the simplest thing as if it were a wondrous treasure! So in some ways, I am grateful that I was diagnosed with cancer or I would still be in the fog of not knowing and not understanding value.
