New Crafter advice please

New Crafter advice please

Hi. I’m completely new to this site and have recently started creating quirky Planters with personality. It has kept me sane during lockdown and I just love creating these ladies - giving each one its own personality. They make everyone that sees them smile and that makes me so happy. Ive seen nothing like them anywhere and did my first craft fair today which was a huge success so I’m hoping to start doing lots more this year. I will be adding more items onto my store but wondered how others manage when they sell items at fairs do you delete the listing immediately on here. As I use different social media platforms, I sometimes forget to delete a sold item straight away. Any tips and advise for a newbie really appreciated. Xxx

When you are making by hand, you will never be able to make two items that are exactly the same. However, very similar is usually what is expected. It is a good idea to have at least six examples of your work on the site. You can add as many as you like. However, if you chose your six favourites that are also your most popular, then when people ask for one you can create one in that style. Try not to make too much extra work for yourself with social updates, which will take you away from making. Which is what you love to do.
