Crafting and wellbeing

Crafting and wellbeing

I havent actively put time aside for craft in a long time, and so something that has come out of the lockdowns (all 500 of them!) is the opportunity to reengage with something that I had forgotten I loved doing. I am not sure when I stop or how I stopped, and I certainly do not remember a specific moment with a specific intention on stopping. I guess it was a case of other things came along that were more important at the time, or maybe they just seemed to be. I think this happens for many of us.

I find sitting down to make a card, to go out and take my camera with me, or even to just draw the first thing that pops into my head, to have such a positive effect on my wellbeing, and dare I say of those around me! I think that having rediscovered this over the last year has been a saving grace and I cant wait to keep sharing some of the things that I am doing.

I hope that you are all well and looking after yourselves. Jules x
