Necessity is the mother of invention

Necessity is the mother of invention

Coping with any change can be difficult and perhaps rather challenging. Disruption on the levels we have seen in the last few months have impacted everyone.

We have to believe that in time the problems will diminish and we will be able to choose between going back to the way we once lived or to perhaps look for something better.

Whilst writing this post the sky is a pure clean deep blue. The air feels fresher and the plants, birds and wildlife seem more abundant than just weeks before. It has given us a glimmer of hope and a window into what the world could be like for everyone.

Rather than imagining a dystopian future our hope is for all of us to open our eyes and see that the world could be so much more.

We have the power to choose, sustainability, low waste, low impact, ethical and just better ways of doing things. Not forcing our ideas on others but leading by example, living the life we would like everyone to enjoy.

Hope is eternal and with it we can build a better future.

Stay safe, stay well and stay hopeful.
