Unicorn brooch

Ive made a variety of unicorn brooches, namely three, the copper one in the picture, a silver and blue very sparkly one and another silver with semi precious blood stone.
They have handmade fastenings. However, Im wondering if these are suitable as these handmade fastenings will not work on fine fabrics, only loosely wovens or knitted fabrics.
Would folk prefer a machine made fastening they can attach to finer fabrics without damaging them?
