Heavy Horse Weekend

This Weekend we attended the Heavy Horse Show at Nynehead near Wellington on Saturday and Buckham Fayre on Sunday, Saturday was blowing a gale and Sunday was so wet everyone packed up early and went home! what a real shame, one lady had to go home early on Saturday as her Gazebo just blew away, Sunday started fine but by the afternoon you could not see your hand in front of your face, the Fog came and the rain was horrendous, such a shame for the organisers. This week i am taking it easy, just had to wash all my tablecloths and things as they were soaking. today is supposed to be nice so let us hope. At the moment i am working on a Needle Felt Unicorn, i was going to make it into a Brooch but i think i will frame it instead. This Sunday we are at the Churchinford Food and Craft Fair, it is only a small affair but as it is our local Village i want to support it, then our next venue is Wiveliscombe Street Fair on the 10th of September and then Colyford Goose Fair on the 30th of September then we are into the Christmas events! There were some really good Art stalls at the Weekend, people are so talented, it did make me want to do some more Art work which i may have a go at this Week, not sure yet what i feel like doing, but i will keep on going and try not to get too dispondant about the Weather.
