creating creativejacq

Hello and thank you for taking the time to read my blog. I am extremely new to this but wanted to give you an insite into how I created my business.
I have worked full time for well over 30 years, raised 3 children and have 3 grandchildren. The last few years have been teamed with health issues but still managed to work full time mainly in customer service. When however I have had to have long periods off work I started sewing again, something i have not done for years. I found this to be therapeutic and helped my recovery. But as my illness keeps returning I find this is even more helpful. I get lost in the sewing machine and enjoy overcoming the issues that I may find with sewing, having the radio on in the background playing all the old tunes takes me to a very happy place.

A wonderful friend of mine has sample fabrics which I also use to make my patchwork cushions, I make them mostly out of fabric i have sourced. I have had a request from my husbands friend who mum has a chain of shops and needed some display cushions. these were fur and 30 x 30. A challenge but a fun one (think my family lived on takeaway while i did these). I am happy to make any size or use any fabric. I prefer to use hyper allergenic inners as this will help with any allergies, but if you prefer another inner then I will make them too.
