25th October 2016 Todmorden Art Exhibition

Good evening. I have been so busy this last week getting ready for my work to go into Earth Spirit. I have done two new tree of life pieces as mentioned last week and also a couple of owls on six inch hoops in cotton cord.
My work should be in the shop either this weekend or the end of next week depending when is convenient and I am really excited to be included.
The shop is situated on Market Street in Hebden Bridge and if you get the chance to visit this lovely town, please look it up.
As well as this I am also getting ready for the Todmorden Open Art Exhibition, which takes place on the first weekend of November at the Town Hall.
This year I have a board for my art pieces and a table for my jewellery. I will be on hand all weekend as the Todmorden Art Group which I am a member of runs the exhibition so I will also be helping out.
The exhibition is open to anyone, you do not need to be a member of the group and although most of the exhibits are from local people we have also had interest in the past from other areas of the UK.
It is a tiring weekend but a great show of art and worth a visit if you are in the area. The event is free to enter and we also have a local schools exhibition with prizes for the best individual pieces.
