14th August 2016 New jewellery piece

Good evening, hard to believe it is almost Autumn which happens to be one of my favourite times of year. A bit more summer would be welcome though, we certainly have not had the heatwave which was supposed to be here this last week.
I am hard at work on new pieces including a Christmas design. I hate planning for the festive season whilst it is still summer and fortunately as my work can be given for any occasion I rarely make pieces for specific celebrations but I do have an idea I want to try out.
Anyway, this week I decided to make myself a necklace and bracelet set. I have made myself several pieces over the last few years but never been completely happy with them as I dont really wear jewellery. I have however been on the lookout for tree charms which would fit in with my love of trees and which I would be happy to wear. I came across these and teamed them with a simple macramé twist in brown wool rather than nylon cord, a few wood beads and tree patterned button to complement the charm.
I love them and think the theme fits in well with my recent ventures and the colours work well together as they do in nature.
