7th August 2016 Post holiday update

Hi everybody. Sorry I have not been able to post recently. I had a fab holiday touring in the motorhome though the signal at times was quite hit and miss so decided to wait until I got back.
I was not completely idle whilst away however, I have new design ideas waiting to be started and as I wanted a new piece to replace an old dreamcatcher in the motorhome, I took some wool with me and made this.
I love working on designs involving trees and the myths and legends surrounding them. Although my pieces are not usually made as dreamcatchers, I feel they would be eminently suitable in this capacity.
I am keeping my fingers crossed regards Earth Spirit and can not wait to show my work there if I am allocated a place, which I am not taking for granted.
I popped into Creative with Nature yesterday to pick up my work as the exhibition is now finished and I am taking a break from having my jewellery there, though I am pleased that as well as my wall hanging I also sold a necklace.
Apart from a couple of events in November, I do not have any more arranged this year, though I have been invited to a few it has been a difficult year due to my other half having an operation. Although I cut my hours in the day job I also took on a new role with more responsibility and this has been taking much of my energy. I did not want to plan too much so will be looking ahead to next year.
