Horse Boat

What a wonderful sight to see. I was transported back to the romantic life of a horse drawn barge. I was on the Kennet and Avon Canal in a place called Kintbury. The Kennet and Avon Horse runs from there. I met the wonderful horse Monty with his brasses. I took several photos in order to get my scene. Ive included some of the shots Ive taken and the start of my painting. I work in a strange way building the back stage then working forward, however this time I needed the boat and horse to be right. I want the boat as the main focus because of the colours. Im working on MDF, I like it for acrylics and as I mix my acrylic with varnish as I go it adheres well. Ill post as I go.
