What To Expect At Wickersley on June 19th
June 19th sees the Wickersley Community Centre play host to a Food, Gift and Craft Event from 10:00am – 3:00pm. Put together by experienced organisers Charmaine and Melanie, it will feature local produce and a variety of craft stalls to entice you in.

People speak highly of Charmaine who is well known in South Yorkshire for promoting Farmers Markets at the likes of Elsecar, Worsbrough and Wentworth over the past 14 years. Melanie came on board a couple of years ago but she herself has 8 years experience in terms of craft fayres and - judging by what you’ll see on her stand - a passion for chocolate!
With this being a new area for the girls they had a chat with Wickersley based painter Pete Thornton-Smith of Wishing You Watercolours and quickly saw the advantage of working together to ensure they get the word out to the local community. When not indulging in his passion for watercolours, Pete is well known for assisting businesses and organisers with social media marketing.
So, why not play your part and help them get this event established in what is a delightful venue. Whether you call in for half an hour or a couple you will be sure to see something that might just tempt you. Admission is free and light and scrummy refreshments will be available.
Stallholders wanting to reserve a space should talk to the girls on 07889 767360 for Charmaine or 07864 768045 for Melanie or by email at email@example.com. Be quick mind as places are limited.
