Newbie

Hi everyone out there in the blogging world. Im a total newbie to this crafting site and also not used to blogging. My daughter and I have been crafting and sewing for years...me longer than her, obviously. I started with childrens clothes when they were little and its gone on from there. Many of my friends have continually told me that I should not be selfish and keep my skills to myself, so we have decided to make things for others to buy. Its an attempt at a small business I suppose. Anyway, over the last few months I have had quite a few people asking me for made-to-measure and they have been pleased. We have created dresses and tops for every day and one or two for special occasions. My biggest commission recently was three bridesmaids dresses and shawls (as it was an April wedding and a bit chilly). We also have been creating jewellery which people seem to like. Im hoping to do my first craft fair soon.
As this is my first attempt at blogging, Ill keep it short and sign off for now.
