Good evening. After the disappointment of the Agricultural Show cancellation it seems there are talks in progress to provide a alternative. As the show can bring in anything upto 10,000 people the cancellation would be a big blow to the community. Im not sure on specifics at the moment but I have requested a provisional stall and to be kept in the loop so hopefully this will be good news.
I have also found out about a new craft shop opening up in Elland, a town not too far away. They will be selling handmade items as well as running workshops so I have requested more info on the rental possibilities.
On top of that I also learnt about a shop called Been Busy, again not too far away in Silsden which also sell handmade items and run workshops. I intent to visit sometime soon and see if my work would be suitable for inclusion.
My tree of life piece is now finished but Im not yet ready to add it to the shop as it hasnt been shown on my facebook page yet and as that is my main selling platform I want to wait until my followers have seen it. However I dont mind showing it here.
I have started another piece again involving trees and I am really loving these pieces, so much so that I have even taken pics of trees to use as inspiration. Although my pieces are not intended to represent actual trees or tree species it is good to see how different trees are structured.
Not much more to tell you except the weather has been gorgeous here the last few days and it really helps to lift the spirits.
