24th March 2016

Good morning. I missed my usual Sunday post as I had been away for the weekend and to be honest was completely knackered.
However whilst away I was working on new ideas and making loads of notes. We have a motor home so it is lovely to sit in the evenings either working on small pieces or making notes and sketches.
I must admit I am itching to get on with some wall hangings but feel a bit of trepidation at the amount of cord I will need and whether I should splash out on more colours or stick with my neutral white and natural/blonde until I see how they go. The cord is lovely and a lot finer than that normally used on wall hangings, although Im not intending to make huge pieces but even small ones will use quite a lot of cord.
Most pieces I have seen made by other people are very neutral and this is where I think I could add a bit of something different. Any of my pieces could be custom made in colours to suit, there are a wide range of colours available with quick delivery so most pieces could be made and delivered within 2 to 3 weeks depending on design and size.
Im not rushing things this time, making pieces as and when I can and trying to network more to show my work.
Im loving pinterest at the moment, its a wonderful source of inspiration.
Hopefully Ill be back with you Sunday, for now Ill leave you with a picture of my Easter cross keyring.
Hope you like it.
Anne xx
