A fairly quiet week this week. I am still working on new pieces and much of this is design at the moment so not much to show. I have finished another Tree of Life, this one is on a 5 inch metal hoop and is made in snow white cotton cord with a variety of wood beads. I am really happy working on these bigger pieces and look forward to even bigger designs.
I have received my first wood hoops and apart from having to give them a quick sanding just to smooth the rough edges, I am really happy with them. So far I have 5 inch, 6 inch, 8 inch and 10 inch.
Dreamcatcher designs spring to mind for these.
I have also been working on a Youtube tutorial for a turtle. I have followed the tutorial but altered it slightly to add beads for the eyes. I am now working on incorporating much of this design into my own pattern for a slightly larger turtle which also has flippers rather than legs.
Well thats about it for now.
