A little bit late this week as I have spent much of the weekend working on new pieces. I am looking forward to producing more pieces which are not jewellery oriented. The owl piece I started has been finished and I am really happy with it. It is only a sample piece at the moment but I am happy to make the design in colours of choice for those interested. I am working in 100 percent cotton cord which I am pleased to say is produced in the UK so I can support our industry in my small way as well. At the moment I am using only snow white due to the amount I have to purchase but there are 10 colours in all in this material and I look forward to finding pieces suited to their colours. I have also ordered wooden rings to replace the brass and hope these will work well but also have the chance to make my own willow hoops and that would carry on the natural element. I am using wooden beads where beads are wanted but unfortunately at the moment although the supplier is in the UK, I cant find a British manufacturer.
I have lots of ideas for decorative pieces which I will eventually put in my shop window here but for now they can be ordered via my Facebook page.
The shop window may be slow in being updated for a while as I work on these new pieces but this blog will keep you informed of my progress.
