Good evening. Im loving my 3 day weeks, they are giving me lots more time to plan and make my jewellery and gifts. I also feel much happier with more relaxation time though eating out more is not doing a lot for my waistline.
Another busy week. Ive finally taken pics I am happy with for the etsy shop and found a set up I am happy with, thanks mainly to my other half lending me a decent camera with manual focus, which makes my pics much clearer and also a basic lesson on photoshop so I can brighten the pics and alter the levels. This makes the pics much lighter as I dont have a daylight option, only 1 daylight lamp. The pics arnt manipulated, the colours are as in real life but they look a lot better lit and clearer.
This should now make adding pieces to the shop a lot easier.
I have also finished a bracelet I was commissioned to make by the owner of the gallery that sells my work. She was happy with it thank goodness, I have posted a pic on this blog. She loves green but isnt much into sparkly so wanted mimimal beads and in a nice bronze. I managed to get a sunflower button to match and it goes really well with the olive green cord.
I m now working on wall hangings as an alternative to my jewellery. So far I have worked out a pattern for an owl, within a brass hoop. Once the pattern is finished, I will post a pic, but I am excited at this new direction.
Well must get on and update social media so until next week.
