As well as a thriving tourist industry, fishing and crofting the isles are the home of Harris Tweed and other weaving.

Harris tween has the oldest trade mark in the UK and has the distinctive orb. It is a valued a well protected brand that is a delight. To be genuine Harris tweed, the cloth must be handwoven and finished on the Islands from pure virgin wool, that has also been spun and dyed on the Islands.
