Study of eyes

This painting was done from a photograph depicting a model in a Hijab style veil.
The beautiful blue colour of the fabric compliments and highlights the striking colour of the eyes. This has been done in Acrylic paint and lends itself to experiment with the miriad of shades of one particular colour. In this case blue, however I have completed similar studies in green and red.
