Cast from a shell in cuttlefish

Part of the seashore collection, this shell was collected from a beach in North Wales.
The shell was used to cast in cuttlefish. This gives a wonderful subtle texture to the shell shape. It is a heavy silver necklace, on a 50 cm chain.
