A small nest of 3 bowls, the largest of which is approximately 6 inches across. Turned from beech, and finished with walnut oil.
Turning a nest of bowls is considered the ultimate pole lathe bowl challenge, making multiple bowls from a single blank of wood. This requires specially made curved nesting tools, which I forge myself. After many failed attempts, I finally managed to figure out how to complete the process. This is the smallest nest Ive made, with the smallest bowl being just a couple of inches across.
