Silver fern frond pendant

This fern leaf is made using a direct impression of a Polypody fern frond on silver clay. Each leaf is only used once, so each piece of jewellery is a one off and totally unique. The frond is then cut out, finished, dried and fired to become 99.9 percent pure silver. It hangs on a 16 sterling silver snake chain.
