My boxes have been created with a love of the natural environment and how it blends with architectural forms. I particularly love the way, vegetation can blend with buildings creating new forms and shapes, the way exposure to the elements can change their colour and surfaces. I use a variety of techniques from, slab rolling and building, imprints, sprigging, carving, coiling and so forth. I work intuitively, not always knowing where the forms and textures will lead, so each piece is unique and inspiring create.
Made to order. Box takes 2 weeks to make.
