Fibonacci striped plate

A rectangular glass plate in turquoise and silver

This elegant handmade glass dish will add a splash of colour and sparkle to any home. Perfect for serving nibbles, chocolates or nuts, or stunning as a decorative feature on your coffee table or shelf.

This plate is made of individually cut pieces of glass, assembled and fired in my kiln at home. I have cut different width stripes of transparent aquamarine glass and alternated them with stripes of iridescent silver glass and arranged them in a Fibonacci pattern resulting in an aesthetically pleasing plate. The dish has been fused a second time over a ceramic mould to create a gentle curve.

This elegant dish measures 12cm by 33cm. The turquoise glass throws a fantastic shadow in the sunlight.
