This is the last page from Jane Austen’s 1811 classic Sense and Sensibility.
Each letter is cut from the page and used – in the same order as it was found on the page – to create Elinor Dashwood’s famous line:
“I wish, as well as everybody else, to be perfectly happy but, like everybody else, it must be in my own way.”
The page itself is also dissected to reveal the county of Hampshire – the birthplace of Jane Austen.
