Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka Stag Beetle A3 Print

This is a print like no other. All letters are cut from the last page of Franz Kafkas 1915 masterpiece and used to create the first line of the novel.

To make things a little trickier, a giant bug has been cut from the page. No whole words are taken, and each letter stays in the same order as it was found on Franz Kafkas last page.

The first line from the book reads:

“When Gregor Samsa awoke one morning from uneasy dreams he found himself transformed in his bed into a monstrous insect.”

This sentence is framed around the upper-left and lower-right of the last page.
