Letter cut from the last page of Jane Austens 1813 classic Pride and Prejudice and used to create the first line of the book.
Each letter is cut from the last page of Jane Austens 1813 classic Pride and Prejudice and used to create the first line of the book:
“It is a truth universally acknowledged that a man in possession of a good fortune must be in need of a wife.”
Each cut out letter stays in the same order as it was found on the page. The page itself is also dissected to reveal the county of Derbyshire – a theme inspired from the last line of the book.
