A table lamp made from 1000 year old+ oak stained black by the peat in the Fenlands of East Anglia.
This table lamp is made from an ancient piece of oak retrieved from the Fens of East Anglia. The oak has been submerged in the peat rich dark soils for many hundreds of years staining it black and eventually unearthed by agricultural cultivation. It has been planed and polished giving a beautiful curved surface down one side. The other side has been left in its natural state.
The lamp has an Edison screw lampholder topping a stainless steel stem.
It has been electrically tested for safety.
