Scarce Bamboo Butterfly

Fused and cast glass sculpture of a Scarce Bamboo butterfly specimen.

All my glass butterfly sculptures are unique and supplied with a certificate of authenticity. The wing sets are fused in multiple stages whilst the body is cast in the pate de verre, lost wax method. The legs, antennae and proboscis are created from sterling silver (hallmarked)
Each butterfly can take up to 8 weeks to perfect and is guaranteed never to be repeated.
Every butterfly is supplied with a glass display dome with mirrored base so that the full beauty can be appreciated.
