This beautiful long backed chair was at a young age very darkly stained by a Neanderthal Any vestige of self respect and dignity it had managed to cling to evaporated when the cave man returned with a pot of varnish That was when the crying began The best part of sixty years later I heard it simpering in the chair pound I paid the ransom and gave it a full on rustiqueification
The chair has an elegant back with splendid ferrules
The seat is made from dyed sisal
