Flowery pink patterned fabric covered box

Decorative and useful too!

This beautiful padded fabric covered box will look lovely wherever you place it in your home. It is also incredibly useful because you could use it to store keepsakes, trinkets, jewellery or other precious personal items. It would also provide very useful storage for household items such as keys, chargers, remote controls or stationery and it would make an ideal and unusual gift or a container for a gift.

This lovely box measures 5.25 inches (13.5 cm) long by 5.5 inches (14 cm) wide by 2.75 inches (7cm) high.

I have covered the outside of this box with a lovely 100 percent cotton fabric from Modas French General range with a traditional French Provencal style flowery print in shades of deep red on a deep pink background. I handmade a mid pink coloured silky tassel which when lifted raises the box lid to reveal the softly padded and lined interior. I have covered the interior surfaces with a complementary iridescent fabric in a deep coppery shade. All surfaces apart from the base are padded for a luxurious effect.

The box may be spot cleaned with a barely damp cloth.
I created this box in a smoke free and pet free environment.
