Flowery print padded fabric covered box

Decorative and useful too!

This beautiful padded fabric covered box will look lovely wherever you place it in your home. It is also incredibly useful because you could use it to store keepsakes, trinkets, jewellery or other precious personal items. It would also provide very useful storage for household items such as keys, chargers, remote controls or stationery and it would make an ideal and unusual gift or a container for a gift.

This lovely box measures 11.5inches (29 cm) long by 5.25 inches (13 cm) wide by 2.75 inches (7 cm) high.

I have covered the outside of this box with a pretty flowery polycotton fabric in tones of pink, blue and green on a soft cream background. I handmade the tassel using a square shaped and dimpled dark purple bead strung together with a bevelled spherical dark purple bead. The tassel when lifted raises the box lid to reveal the softly padded and lined interior. I have covered the interior of the box with a soft cotton fabric in a complementary lilac abstract print. All surfaces, apart from the inside of the lid and the outside of the base, are padded to give a luxurious effect.

The box may be spot cleaned with a barely damp cloth.
I created this box in a smoke free and pet free environment.
