Butterfly print padded fabric covered box

Decorative and useful too!

This beautiful padded fabric covered box will look lovely wherever you place it in your home. It is also incredibly useful because you could use it to store keepsakes, trinkets, jewellery or other precious personal items. It would also provide very useful storage for household items such as keys, chargers, remote controls or stationery and it would make an ideal and unusual gift or a container for a gift.

This lovely box measures 6.25 inches (16 cm) long by 6.25 inches (16 cm) wide by 4 inches (10 cm) high.

I have covered the outside of this box with a pretty polycotton fabric with a lovely butterfly print in tones of dark blue, mid blue and white on a light blue background. I handmade a co-ordinating bright blue silky tassel which when lifted raises the box lid to reveal the softly padded and lined interior. I have covered the interior surfaces with a luxurious Dutch cotton fabric with a pattern of flowers and stems in rich shades of dark blue and mid blue. All surfaces apart from the base outside are padded for a luxurious effect.

The box may be spot cleaned with a barely damp cloth.
I created this box in a smoke free and pet free environment.
