Fused glass sculptured boats

Individual bespoke fused glass sailing boats attached to driftwood. Each boat sail is individualy handcrafted and contains a range of glass effects which is fused at a top temperature of 784 ° c for around 12 hours. Each sail is then secured and attached to driftwood which is treated and oiled to bring out the natural grain of the wood. Colour and design are incorporated according to individual requests. This item is shown with two large boats but this can be adapted. This item is available at the North East Art Collective, Eldon Gardens, Newcastle and Thornthwaite Galleries, Keswick, Cumbria.
