Set Sail rustic sail boat and wave break sculpture

Steel formed abstract sail boat mounted on solid oak wave break feature. Stands 65 tall.

Set Sail is a piece that I created to reflect peaceful days on shorelines or inland waters, that will enhance any outdoor space. The piece was finished on the 30th May 2026.

This piece is 65 tall, 20 wide and 11 deep (in new money thats 165 cm x 51 cm x 28 cm)

Over time the elements will continue to envelope the piece, further enhancing the wonderful golden outer patina. Over a short space of time your garden and the wildlife that inhabit it, will only further add to the enjoyment.

The sculpture consists of a steel formed sail boat, mounted atop of solid oak wave break. The wave break is connected using 3 galvanised threaded bars, each 33 cm long and 20 mm in diameter. Steel nuts then provide the tension and security, while still allowing for disassembly if needed.

This piece was on our patio overnight during some very gusty weather, and it didnt move. It has a good heavy base and the whole sculpture weighs in at 33.5 kg. Its ideal for a patio, sunroom, or level lawn / other level base.
