Beautiful Art Deco Style design Amethyst pendant with baguette and claw set stones.

I love using baguette cut stones they have clean lines and parallel facets that create a hall-of-mirrors effect. They are often used in Art Deco designs producing the straight lines and geometric patterns of this distinctive design movement. I was inspired with Art Deco during a visit to New York with its amazing buildings embellished with geometric patterns. I have used this inspiration to create some of my jewellery designs

This pendant was designed and handmade by me. The baguette stone is the centrepiece of this pendant and it is complimented by the claw set stone at the bottom. This combination balances the sleek, architectural lines of the baguette cut stones with the classic brilliance of the rounded accent stone. The pendant is made from recycled sterling silver, the baguette stone is a 9mm x 7mm cubic zirconia amethyst and the round accent stone is a claw set a 4mm natural amethyst. The whole pendant is 7mm wide and 20mm long. It is suspended from a sterling silver 1.7mm wide and 45cm long belcher chain.

I am very aware of the impact of precious metal and gem mining on the planet and communities and I am keen to make my pieces as sustainable as possible. I use 100 percent recycled silver and gold and ethically sourced natural gems or lab created gems which are man made and eco friendly.

We do not use single use plastic during the production or sale of this item.
