Made-to-order 18ct gold pendant with natural watermelon tourmaline, pink sapphires, emeralds and diamonds, handcrafted in London with a fine gold chain.

The original one-of-a-kind pendant shown has been sold. This Lena Cohen Jewellery design is now available to order, with each new necklace individually made around a different natural watermelon tourmaline.

The rectangular centre stone displays watermelon tourmaline’s characteristic transition between pink and green. Pink sapphires and vivid emeralds form a colourful border, while slim rows of natural white diamonds along the sides introduce a clean line of light. The geometric setting keeps the composition precise and allows the natural colour pattern of the tourmaline to remain the focal point.

No two watermelon tourmalines have the same bands, tones or inclusions. Before production begins, the jewellers source suitable centre stones and provide personal guidance so the client can approve the colour pattern and character of their preferred stone. The finished pendant will therefore retain the identity of the original design without becoming an exact copy.

Each necklace is bench-made in London using natural gemstones and solid 18ct gold. Choose yellow or white gold and a suitable chain length. The proportions of the pendant and surrounding gemstone setting can be refined around the selected centre stone while preserving the balanced rectangular design. The necklace is completed with a fine solid gold micro ball chain and hallmarked in London.
