Silver Heart Earrings

Tiny silver hearts that are as cute as a button.

I created these heart earrings by hand using silver metal clay: a mix of finely ground pure silver particles, organic binder and water. A textured mat has been used to give a mix of summer flowers onto one side of the hearts. Once the pieces have been dehydrated to remove the water, they are then fired, burning off the binder and melting the silver particles to leave earrings which are 99.9 percent pure silver. I then take time to polish them by hand, bringing out the texture of the flowers.

The hearts are 1cm in width and height and are on sterling silver earrings posts.
These will arrive snug in their own little pouch.
