Embroidered Flower Wreath

A colourful wreath of summer flowers

A delicate flower wreath. I started this piece by block printing onto fabric and then used free motion stitching to define the leaves. I then added various flowers using recycled rose pink sari silk and tiny french knots. I never follow a pattern for these wreaths and only finish when Im completely content with them which means no two are ever the same.
