Devon Garden Ball
A stone ball in lavender in a garden in Devon, Thorn House, photographed on a visit to the venue.This is painted in acrylic on canvas board with a white wooden distressed frame 5cm wide. The picture is 55cm wide and 45cm high , within the frame. The visit was with my family and had been arranged beforehand. However, it poured with rain, I took lots of photos , there was also a massive urn which my brother has a painting of in his Devon home. We were given a lovely tea, with a childrens table to themselves. It was a very jolly memorable day out ! The painting shows the ball nestled in the flowers, mostly lavender.
