Harbour View
This is a jolly colourful painting of Noss Mayo harbour near Plymouth.I did this painting in situ, en plain air as it is called ! It was a lovely sunny morning at 8.30 am and the colourful dinghies on the hard make for a very pretty jumble of wood and sea. The painting is in acrylic on canvas and measures 56cm wide x 46cm high 1cm deep. Noss Mayo, where the painting is of, is a very pretty village near Plymouth where I have visited many times before. There is always something new to paint. I never tire of painting the sea although I live so far from it - in Buckinghamshire. The painting is not framed, but it is on a canvas and the edge is painted, so you dont need to frame it unless you want to ?
