Icon Collage

Bright and colourful collage made in a class with Jan Munro run by Winslow and District Art society.

This large work, made on a piece of hardboard is a collage of mixed papers and shapes. Using negative and positive spaces it depicts still life at its most dynamic, moving shapes around to give good composition . It is A2 in size and is framed behind glass with a black frame. The papers were made by printing using gel plates and rollers and stencils to create material to make up the vases and flower shapes. These were then stuck on and layers made up to create a finished piece.
